Action Planning Template
Goal:  The goal of my action research plan is understand the need of utilizing a virtual school program, such as the Texas Virtual School Network, at my campus.

We will be doing research by analyzing other school districts’ successes with virtual school up  until now.	Myself Kay Amy Carol Katie	Begin – January 2012 End  - April 2012	Access to other school districts’ personnel including, but not limited to, communications with counselors, virtual school administrators, and virtual school liaisons.	Each member of the team will be contacting personnel from other school districts who are already utilizing virtual school.  We each have a set of questions which we are having the district personnel answer.  We will be meeting weekly to compile the information together and analyze our results.
Poll students at my campus to determine a need or desire for online learning.	Myself	Begin - February 2012 End – April 2012	I will need access to a survey website, such as google forms.	I will analyze the results of the survey by utilizing the analysis tool which google forms provides.  I will develop an understanding of how the students at my campus view the opportunity to use online learning so that I may better understand how to best use this program.
Develop an implementation strategy of the virtual school program	Myself Kay Amy Katie Carol Steve Jill	Begin – February 2012 End – May 2013	We will need the data which has been analyzed in order to develop our implementation strategy.	We will evaluate our strategy next school year to determine if we have achieved the outcome which was desired.  If the desired outcome was not achieved, we will make adjustments at that time.
